Richard R. Bevis, D.D.S., Ph.D.
Dr. Bevis is a 1966 graduate of the University of Minnesota Dental Program and received his Ph.D. and Certificate of Orthodontic training at the University of Minnesota in 1969.
Dr. Bevis is a member of the hospital staff at the University of Minnesota Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Dentists, the Edward Angle Society of Orthodontics and a Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Minnesota. He is an active member of the Cities of Lakes Dental Study Club.
Dr. Bevis is married and has three grown children. He enjoys sailing, tennis, and golf. He looks forward to meeting new patients and the challenge of making his patients goals a reality. |

Patricia Hawkins Leonard, D.D.S.
Patricia Hawkins Leonard was raised in Grand Forks, Denver and Omaha. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, majoring in biology and psychology. Dental school and orthodontic residency were completed at the University of Minnesota in 1982 and 1984 respectively.
Dr. Leonard is Board Certified in Orthodontics and is a member of the American Dental Association. She volunteered as an orthodontic consultant for the Dental-Facial Clinic for Cleft Palate at Minneapolis Children's Hospital for five years before serving on the University Cleft Palate Clinic. Dr. Leonard has taught in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry teaching dental students.
From 1984 until 1997, Dr. Leonard had a private practice in Golden Valley. In 1997, she moved to Sioux Falls where she met her husband Greg. She enjoys spending time with her young daughter and husband. Her interest include snow skiing, golf, bronze sculpture, and gardening. |

Sarah Soltys, D.D.S.
Sarah Soltys grew up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She attended St. Olaf College and completed her dental school at the University of Minnesota in 2003. She chose the University of Minnesota for her orthodontic specialty program, graduating in 2005, and has been practicing in the Twin Cities area since then.
She regularly attends orthodontic and dental conventions and seminars. Dr. Soltys has active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, The American Dental Association, the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists and the Minnesota Dental Association.
Dr. Soltys enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Eric and their dogs. She's a runner, completing a handful of marathons in the past four years. She loves hiking, camping, and traveling. She enjoys skiing (alpine and Nordic), competing in high school and recently became a cross-country skier. She recently returned to the golf course, mostly enjoying fast-paced 9-hole rounds.
Dr. Soltys possesses a passion for helping her patients achieve that perfect combination of long-lasting dental health and a dazzling smile. |
